Thursday night once again this year is “Teen Night,” including unlimited carnival rides for $15, a Guitar Hero contest, and karaoke. The carnival opens at 6pm and the karaoke wraps up at 10:30pm
Friday night’s events kick off at 6:30pm with a reptile show by Jim Nesci. Live music by Righteous Hillbillies begins at 8:00pm. A fireworks display brings the evening to a close at 9:30pm.
Saturday starts early, with a flea market downtown on Water Street at 9am, running until 4pm. A bike and pet parade begins at 10:30am. The route runs from Jackson Street at Booth Central, to Main Street, then to Route 53, ending at the North Island. A bike rodeo follows at 11am.
The Wilmington Fire Department will be holding fire fights downtown at noon, while the carnival and food vendors open up at the island. You can catch a performance by the WHS spirit line at 12:30pm. Jim Brown, alum of the Bozo Show, will be holding a magic show from 1:30pm to 2:15pm.
A best actor and actress lookalike contest will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, with signups beginning at 2pm.
The beer garden opens for the day at 3pm, and Iron Horse will be performing live at 8pm. Saturday night ends with a laser light show on the South Island at 9:30pm.
Sunday morning is home to the Catfish Days 5K Run, which starts at 8am. The race starts at Get Fit 24/7 and ends at the South Island.
The carnival and food vendors again open at 12pm on the final afternoon of Catfish Days 2011.
The parade marches at 1pm. The route runs from Mill and Water, to Ryan street, turning left and ends at the school.
The karaoke stage will be open from 2pm to 6pm.
